As agreed by Ningde Municipal People's Government in 2011, Ningde Geopark Management Committee was renamed as Ningde UNESCO Global Geopark Management Committee. In addition, the number of management personnel was increased, integrated management system further intensified and the unified management, unified planning, unified protection and unified promotion implemented. Domestic geologists were invited to act as members or consultants of the management organization.  

Internal organs and their responsibilities of Ningde UNESCO Global Geopark Management Committee:

Comprehensive Management: be responsible for secretarial service, reception, labor and personnel, social insurance, archive management and other work of the Management Committee; make and organize the implementation of annual income and expenditure plan; take charge of accounting of revenue and expenditure, budget, final accounting, charges of non-profit-making service as well as routine finance management and fixed asset investment management.   

Nature Protected Areas Department: carry out environmental protection publicity and education, execute the relevant resource and environmental protection laws and regulations of the state and superior authorities, develop resource and environmental protection measures for the geopark, organize patrol inspection in the scenic area, strictly enforce the law and fulfill resource and environmental protection duties.  

Scientific Research and Education Department: take charge of regular observation, information, scientific research, science popularization education, science and technology exchanges, academic discussion and other related work of the scenic area; cultivate and train geological and tourist management and service personnel and constantly improve the geological science knowledge level of professionals involved.   

Planning and Construction Department: make the park's overall plan and detailed zone plan; make annual construction plan; make preliminary review on the detailed plan of the scenic area, preliminary review and report of construction projects in the scenic area; take charge of zoning management, energy management and other management work in the scenic area; develop and finish ornament, greening and lighting work plans of the scenic area.

Marketing and Promotion Department: make and carry out mid- and long-term tourism marketing plans, develop tourist market and tourist products, take charge of external publicity of scenic area, tourism market analysis and statistics of relevant data, handling of tourists' complaints and investment attraction and promotion, etc.; set up the geopark's information management system and regularly maintain the website of the geopark.

Taimushan Management Department: it is composed of General Office, Tourist Market Management Office, Tourism Economy Development Office, Planning & Construction Office of the Scenic Area and Tourism Publicity & Promotion Office and administrates Taimushan Tourism Economic Development Co., Ltd.

Baiyunshan - Yuanyangxi Management Department: it is composed of General Office, Planning & Construction Department, Management Office of the Scenic Area, Publicity & Promotion Office and Economy Development Office.

Liyuxi - Jiulongji Management Department: it is composed of General Office, Construction & Development Office, Management Office of the Scenic Area and Market Development Office.
