On April 3, the Zhouning County Association for Science and Technology, in collaboration with the Liyuxi-Jiulongji Scenic Area and Chunchi Town Central Primary School, organized a themed science popularization event titled Exploring the Ningde Association for Science and Technology's Popular Science Base—Ningde UGGp Zhouning Exhibition Hall.

Upon entering the exhibition hall, visitors were greeted by an electronic sand table displaying the distribution of the entire geopark and its sub-areas. The Ningde UGGp covers a total area of 2,829.82 square kilometers, with 81.66 square kilometers located within Zhouning County, including key scenic spots such as Jiulongji, Liyuxi, Chenqiao, Guanshan, and Houlong. The eastern, southern, and western regions of Zhouning are surrounded by deep canyons, while the central area features high-altitude mountainous terrain, showcasing diverse volcanic and granite landscapes. Abundant rainfall, combined with canyons and river channels, has created numerous water-based scenic features. Under the guidance of the science base's docents, students observed various rocks, minerals, and ancient fossils up close.

The science base also featured a special Environmental Knowledge Mini-Class, educating students on the importance of ecological conservation in relation to geological protection. The session encouraged everyone to start with small daily actions—conserving resources and reducing pollution—to collectively protect our beautiful planet.
