On January 5, Professor Xie Qingguo, Vice Dean of the School of Journalism and Communication at Xiamen University, led a delegation to conduct research at Baiyunshan Scenic Area, aiming to further promote the area's cultural and tourism publicity.

The delegation conducted field investigations at various attractions including the Ningde UGGp Museum, Youlong Cave, and Jiulong Cave. Through examining exhibition displays to trace historical contexts and exploring glacial potholes to appreciate natural wonders, they meticulously observed each site to comprehensively understand the current state of cultural-tourism integration and personally experience Baiyunshan’s unique tourism resources.

Professor Xie Qingguo shared profound insights on the scenic area's cultural-tourism status based on field observations. Both parties engaged in candid discussions focusing on the exploration, integration, and promotion of cultural-tourism resources, as well as innovations in publicity models. These exchanges provided valuable theoretical perspectives and fresh creative materials for the scenic area's development while clarifying directions for future cultural-tourism promotion.

This research initiative established a communication bridge between the university's professional team and the scenic area's management department. With the expertise of Xiamen University, Baiyunshan Scenic Area is expected to take solid steps in cultural-tourism integration, attracting more visitors to experience its unique landscapes and the charm of nature intertwined with culture.
