Recently, after a comprehensive evaluation by the Fujian Provincial Forestry Bureau, the first batch of 17 star-rated nature education sites was announced, with the Baiyunshan Scenic Area of Ningde UGGp successfully making the list. This honor not only recognizes the long-term dedication of Baiyunshan Scenic Area in the field of tourism but also acknowledges its efforts in promoting nature education.

In recent years, leveraging its natural ecological resources and unique geological landscapes, the Baiyunshan Scenic Area has tailored its approach to create a nature education site integrating research-based learning, experiential education, and tourism. The scenic area boasts abundant educational resources, including a 120,000-square-meter multifunctional north-south service zone, a 30,000-square-meter eco-friendly parking area, and facilities such as a 4D cinema, restaurants, a visitor center, and a geopark museum. Additionally, in line with the national education curriculum standards, the scenic area has developed a comprehensive course system, featuring six themed research-based learning programs by integrating highlights suitable for different age groups. To date, the scenic area has earned honors such as Fujian Provincial Science Education Base, Fujian's First Batch of Provincial Nature Education Bases, and Ningde City Primary and Secondary School Research and Practice Education Base.
