Qixi Festival is also the day when the Goddess of Taimu Mountain ascended to heaven. Fuding is the birthplace of white tea in the world, and Goddess of Taimu Mountain is the ancestor of white tea. In order to promote and inherit the spirit of Taimu's great love and facilitate the high-quality development of Fuding's white tea industry, the Fuding Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government have focused on building a cultural highland dedicated to Taimu, the origin of white tea. The "Sacrifice Ceremony for the Origin of Chinese White Tea, Taimu" (held twice a year in spring and autumn) has been included in the sixth batch of representative inheritance projects of intangible cultural heritage in Fuding City.

This event integrates the inheritance ceremony of Fuding white tea production skills into the traditional sacrifice ceremony for the Godness of Taimu Mountain. With the theme of "All white tea originates from Taimu," it aims to continuously expand the brand influence of Fuding white tea and contribute to rural revitalization. On this Qixi Festival, the romantic atmosphere of Taimu shan was filled to the brim, allowing visitors who came to Taimushan on this day to experience the ancient charm of white tea.
