The research team inspected the current infrastructure and operational status of Baishuiyang, and engaged in lively discussions on how to better propel the thriving development of the tourist industry at Yuanyangxi-Baishuiyang.

Chairman Zhou Wenling of the Cultural Tourism Group put forward three suggestions: Firstly, it is necessary to conduct a comprehensive and systematic rectification of Baishuiyang and Yuanyangxi according to the standards of a 5A-level scenic spot, and strengthen the training of service etiquette for all employees. Secondly, consider including the project of connecting Baishuiyang and Yuanyangxi via cable car in the scenic area development plan, and continue to push forward the work related to the cancellation of the footpath in Yuanyangxi. Thirdly, build a boutique hotel in Yuanyangxi, and position Yuanyangxi as a health and wellness resort scenic spot. The surfing and rafting projects in Baishuiyang also need further upgrading and improvement to solve and optimize related issues.

County Party Secretary Zhou Chunhai made a speech, proposing the following: Firstly, the development of scenic areas requires the concerted efforts of multiple parties to establish a communication and coordination mechanism, regularly discuss and solve practical problems. Secondly, Baishuiyang and Yuanyangxi scenic areas should formulate an upgrade and renovation list based on 5A standards to meet the sightseeing and consumption needs of tourists. Lastly, strengthen promotional efforts and strive to expand markets outside the province.
