In order to strengthen the safety defense line of scenic areas and ensure the safety of life and property of tourists and the people living around the scenic areas, the Baiyunshan Administrative Committee has attached great importance to the prevention of Typhoon "Gaemi", and has deployed in advance to implement various countermeasures in detail.
Carrying out front-line supervision, paying close attention to meteorological disaster monitoring and early warning information, conducting comprehensive inspections, strengthening the investigation of various dangerous areas, and making every effort to do a good job in typhoon and flood prevention with a high sense of responsibility and mission.
Focus on hazard investigation. Taking advantage of the window period before the typhoon landed, the Baiyunshan Administrative Committee jointly carried out hazard investigation with the Fu’an Baiyunshan Tourism Development Co., Ltd. They inspected the billboards, power lines, flood drainage channels, and other sensitive areas prone to landslides within the scenic area. Relevant staff were arranged to collect outdoor tables, chairs, and sun umbrellas, and to reinforce and repair outdoor equipment and facilities with potential safety hazards to ensure safety and stability.
Strengthen duty and attendance. In accordance with flood prevention requirements, the scenic area was closed and tourists were notified through online and offline means as soon as possible. At the same time, the leadership shift system and 24-hour duty system were implemented in the organization and scenic area, closely monitoring the development of typhoons and changes in rainfall, water levels, and flood conditions, strengthening information reporting and communication, and ensuring smooth communication channels.
Strengthen material reserves and grasp the actual situation of various material reserves. Organize staff to carefully check the quantity, quality, and shelf life of emergency materials such as life jackets, raincoats, rain boots, emergency lighting equipment, and power generation equipment to ensure that material reserves are sufficient and can be put into use at any time, providing basic preparations for emergency disaster avoidance and rescue during the flood season.
