On April 24th, the 55th World Earth Day, the Taimushan Administrative Committee held a 20th Anniversary Photography Exhibition of the GGN with the theme of "Cherish the Earth, Harmony between Man and Nature" at the Taimushan Tourist Center.

During the Earth Day, the Taimushan Administrative Committee made display boards on the geological content of "Sister Geoparks" and popular science readings to educate the general public and tourists about the rich geological knowledge of the Taimushan. This scientific outreach and publicity campaign aimed to enhance the public's understanding of Earth's resources, fostering a deeper appreciation and care for the planet and our home.

As the "World Earth Day" approached, Maohua Middle School in Fuding City launched a research study activity themed "Exploring the Wonders of Mountains and Seas, and Uncovering the Mysteries of Nuclear Energy." Nearly a thousand teachers and students visited Taimushan, where they sought out vividly lifelike peaks and grotesque rocks, traversed the "Narrow Skyline Path," and gained knowledge about geological rock structures and crustal movements, providing them with intuitive and profound understanding of Earth sciences. The abundant geological relics, unique granite landforms, and rich biodiversity displayed in the Taimushan Exhibition Hall also provided students with a vivid natural classroom.
