On November 19th, Pingnan Experimental Primary School held a study activity themed "Mysterious Geological Relics, Macaque Paradise, Natural Ecology, Continuing the Revolutionary Spirit" at the Baishuiyang-yuanyangxi Primary and Secondary School Research and Practice Education Base. The aim is to stimulate children's imagination and creativity through hands-on practice, cultivate teamwork spirit, and promote all-round development of morality, intelligence, physical fitness, aesthetics, and labor.

Students first arrived at Tangkou to visit the Northward Anti-Japanese Monument of the 6th Regiment of the 3rd Detachment of the New Fourth Army, to learn about the revolutionary history of anti-Japanese heroes, stimulate their patriotism, and establish a correct outlook on life and values. They learned about the architectural principles and craftsmanship of wooden arch bridges, experienced the exquisite skills and unique charm of Chinese history and culture, and understood the significance of cultural inheritance.

Visit the Baishuiyang-yuanyangxi Scenic Area, while enjoying the beautiful scenery, learn about the formation of different scenic spots' topography and landforms, understand the impact of climate, terrain, etc. on the growth and distribution of animals and plants, stimulate children's exploration and thinking about the unknown world, and cultivate students' scientific literacy and problem-solving abilities.

Get up close to animals such as mandarin ducks and macaques, enjoy the winter scenery, discover the beauty of nature, experience the harmonious relationship between man and nature, and enhance your awareness and responsibility for environmental protection.

This activity allowed students to learn unique geological knowledge about their hometown that they were not exposed to in books or classes, increasing their knowledge and broadening their horizons. It allowed students to fully experience the charm of geological knowledge and further stimulate their love for nature.
