On November 8^th, retired cadres of the Fujian Provincial People's Congress visited the Liyuxi Scenic Area, accompanied by Deputy Director of the Zhouning County People's Congress and Director of the Scenic Area Management Committee.

Ningde Global Geopark Liyuxi Scenic Area is located in Puyuan Village, about 5 kilometers west of Zhouning County. It has a history of 800 years, and the people and fish have a deep relationship and live together. It is a common practice to love and protect fish. Liyuxi Scenic Area is also a national scenic area, a national 4A tourist attraction, and a national fish culture theme park.

The group visited the Four Seasons Flower Sea, the Fish Altar, the Ming and Qing Ancient Street and other attractions, fully understanding the century-old history of Liyuxi and experiencing the harmonious model of human and fish enjoying together. The group also visited the representative folk museum on both sides of the Carp Brook. The folk museum was originally an ancient residence of the Ming Dynasty, with a total area of about 200 square meters. It displayed some impressive intangible cultural heritage projects in Zhouning County. It occasionally invited inheritors of intangible cultural heritage to demonstrate skills in the museum, played oral literature videos of intangible cultural heritage and Zhouning intangible cultural heritage videos, and exhibited intangible cultural heritage image and text boards. Visitors can also experience the making of "plaques", maltose and Paper Cuttings Brown clothing and the playing of folk percussion gold drums and gongs here. The retired veteran cadre of the Fujian Provincial People's Congress said that such a museum is of great significance, which deepens our understanding of Zhouning's traditional culture while touring, leaving a beautiful memory.
