From October 21st to 22nd, Zhuang Shunfu, the head of the Matsu Geopark Association in Lianjiang County, Taiwan, and other five member of the Matsu Geopark Association visited Ningde Global Geopark and conducted a number of communication activities.

On the 21st, the communication meeting between the Ningde Global Geopark Administrative Committee and the Matsu Geopark Association of Lienchiang County, Taiwan was held at the Ningde Forestry Bureau. Chen Zhanlin, a member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the Ningde Forestry Bureau, introduced the rich natural resources of the city and the work of Ningde Global Geopark in geological heritage protection, infrastructure construction, and geoscience popularization to the Matsu Geopark Association. The two sides conducted in-depth communication.

On the morning of the 22nd, the group visited the Baiyunshan Scenic Area. During the trip, the group carefully explored the landscapes of the Baiyunshan Scenic Area, such as "Hulu Pond", "Golden Toad Playing in Water" and "Feitian Well", experienced the quality resources and natural scenery here, and greatly appreciated the wonders of the pot hole. They also visited the Ningde Global Geopark Museum, watched the Ningde Global Geopark video, and listened to the guide's introduction to the museum.

On the afternoon of the 22nd, the group visited the Liyuxi-Jiulong Waterfall Scenic Area. The group visited the ancient village of Puyuan, where they learned about the unique culture of Liyuxi. They showed great interest in the lifestyle of human-fish coexistence and harmony between man and nature. In the folk museum, the two sides exchanged views on the similarities and differences between Fujian and Taiwan culture.

During the communication, the group appreciated the colorful geological and humanistic culture of Ningde Global Geopark, which played a positive role in promoting Taiwan compatriots to have a deeper understanding of Ningde Global Geopark, deepening the feelings between the two sides, enhancing the communication between the two sides, and further promoting the integration and development of cross-Strait relations.
