On October 13th, the Zhouning County Association for Science and Technology jointly held the National Science Popularization Day event with the Liyuxi-jiulongji Scenic Area, with the theme of "Improving the scientific literacy of the public and promoting the self-reliance and self-improvement of science and technology".

During the activity, the Zhouning County Association for Science and Technology organized 70 experimental primary school students to visit the Science Popularization Base of the Municipal Association for Science and Technology, the Zhouning Exhibition Hall of Ningde Global Geopark, to listen to the introduction from science volunteers, to have a deep understanding of the overview of the Mindong Geopark, the geological structures such as the miaolitic alkali-feldspar granite and volcanic rock, and the main rare and endangered protected animal species in the geological park, to watch the panoramic Jiulongji Waterfall and the scenery images of Zhouning, and to guide the students to explore the geology of Zhouning and feel the beautiful natural ecological environment of Zhouning. The students were deeply attracted by various rocks, geological relics, animal and plant resources, etc., listened to the teacher's explanations with wide eyes and relish, pondered the mysteries of science, and felt the charm of their hometown.
