On September 8th, more than 400 teachers and students from the sixth grade of Fuyang Campus of Fuan Primary School visited the Research and Practice Base for Primary and Secondary School Students in Baiyunshan Scenic Area and explored the geological mysteries there. They conducted a geological science research activity themed Concentrate on the Future, Empower the Youth to Grow.

The students visited the Geopark Museum, the Tea Museum and the Photography Museum. At the Geopark Museum, students watched the promotional video of Ningde Global Geopark, from which they gained a preliminary understanding of the geological history, landscape and folk culture of Ningde UNESCO Global Geopark. Then, with the explanation of the staff, the students fully understood the geological knowledge through related texts, pictures, models, and multimedia interactive devices, and enjoyed the magical charm of nature.

Next, the Research and Practice Base for Primary and Secondary School Students in Baiyunshan Scenic Area will further strengthen cooperation with schools in surrounding areas, continue to carry out a series of research activities, allow students to break out of the closed circle of "from school to school" and "from textbook to textbook", constantly expand the boundaries of education, stimulate students' curiosity and thirst for knowledge, and make the Baiyunshan Scenic Area a "second classroom" for primary and secondary school students.
