To usher in the 49^th Earth Day, Ningde UNESCO Global Geopark Management Committee together with peripheral schools and local residents carried out a series of popularization activities themed by "Cherish natural resources, care for the beautiful homeland - a good narration of our earth story", such as the awarding ceremony of the geological school, geological science popularization in campus/community, geological & humanistic science popularization lectures in schools & enterprises, ceramic art competition, etc.

A variety of activities were carried out to improve the awareness of peripheral students and residents to care for the earth and protect our homeland, who also got further understandings of local geological knowledge.
