In 2007, Ningde joined hand with Sper, a German city and kept close exchange at all levels and in various fields thereafter. In 2015, at the invitation of Sper Government, The Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Ningde Municipal People's Government recommended Tang Yuanchang to embark on a 90-day art exchange and study tour and satisfactory outcomes have been fulfilled. In October this year, the artist Martin Eckrich from Sper came to Ningde for 70-day creation exchange in the "Artist Exchange Program".

On December 8, China (Ningde)-Germany (Sper) Artists' Works & Exchange Exhibition was held in Ningde when 70 pieces of painting and sculpture works of German artist Martin Eckrich created during his exchange in Ningde and 20 pieces of sketch and ceramic works created by Tang Yuanchang during his visit to Germany were on display. On December 12, at the end of his creation exchange in Ningde, Martin Eckrich and others paid a visit to Taimushan for folklore collection and enjoy the beautiful scenery in Global Geopark, national 5A Scenic Area, national scenic spot and celestial city in the sea.

During the travel in Taimushan, they walked through Fuqifeng Square, made animated talks about the history of Guoxing Temple and appreciated green eaters in Longtan Lake and majestic hills. Further, they also trod on the wooden trestle and went to Yingxiantai when they enjoyed green hills and strange rocks and stones. They climbed along the Sea-view Trestle while commanding the winding tea mountain and boundless sea. Over Dapanshi, Taimu hills are so magnificent and command all views around amidst numerous peaks and strange rocks...

During this 2h journey, Martin Eckrich met picturesque peaks and rocks, tranquil caves and grand landscape of mountains and sea in Taimushan. During the interview in Fenglindaguan, Martin Eckrich said that "rocks in Taimushan are like a big family and closely gather together". Rather fresh and clean air and even directly drinkable water in the mountain were greatly favored by him. The climbing experience made him feel many different elements, resembling to the Kissing Rock in the road, heralding that inner energy erupts from the inside like roaring flames.
