In order to strengthen learning and exchange and discuss sustainable development of global geoparks together, the delegation from Ningde UNESCO Global Geopark paid a visit to Yandangshan UNESCO Global Geopark from December 20 to 22.

The delegation visited protection sites of geological relics, park guide signs, signboards of geological landscapes, museums and other sites in Yandangshan UNESCO Global Geopark. During their visit, Zhan Yingqi, deputy director of Ningde UNESCO Global Geopark Management Committee made extensive discussion and exchange with principals of Yandangshan UNESCO Global Geopark on geoparl reassessment, effective protection of geological relic, construction of sign systems in geoparks, in-depth implementation of activities to popularize scientific knowledge and guide training for geoparks and also highlighted its suffeccful experience in geopark reassessement. This visit would further promote the communication and exchange between the two parks and also drive sound and sustainable development of parks.
