This year marks the 35th anniversary for the establishment of the Tourist Attractions System, which is designed to strengthen the management of tourist attractions and the effective protection and reasonable utilization of their resources.
1. Fu'an Baiyunshan
Establishment of Fu'an Baiyunshan Scenic Area
Fu'an Baiyunshan fell among the seventh batch of national parks approved by the State Council. Baiyunshan Scenic Area was listed as the Fujian provincial tourist attraction in 2004; in October 2008, it passed successfully the appraisal by the Ministry of Land and Resources and included in the recommended list of 2009 Global Geoparks; in August 2009 and December 2009. it respectively won the titles of national geopark and national tourist attraction.
On October 3, 2010, at the UNESCO Global Geopark Appraisal Conference held in Lesvos, Greece, under the joint application of Fu'an Baiyunshan, Fuding Taimushan and Pingnan Baishuiyang, Ningde Geopark was officially included in the list of the UNESCO Global Geoparks Network.
To celebrate the 35th anniversary for the establishment of China's tourist attractions system, Fu'an Baiyunshan carried out multiple activities.
1. Exhibitions of scenery pictures

To commemorate the 35th anniversary of the establishment of China's tourist attractions system, the Baiyunshan Scenic Area carried out exhibitions of scenery pictures in Cultural Park of Fu'an Banzhong She Ethnic Township, Yangtou Square, Yangchun Park, etc. to promote citizens know more about and get closer to Baiyunshan.
2. Propaganda of regulations
We not only exhibited the scenery pictures of the scenic area, but also put up posters advertising regulations on tourist attractions in towns and villages surrounding the scenic area; moreover, we also made better use of mobile loudspeakers for the better interpretation of regulations on tourist attractions to deepen people's understanding and strengthen their awareness of protection to tourist attractions.

Regulations on tourist attractions
Interpretation of related regulations on tourist attractions of Fujian
Article 7: All units and individuals have the obligation to protect the resources of tourist attractions, and are entitled to stop and report damage behaviors to resources of tourist attractions.
Article 20: All units, residents, operators and tourists in the tourist attraction shall comply with its management regulations, protect its resources, care about the public facilities within it and maintain environmental health and public order.
Article 21: The following actions are forbidden in the tourist attraction: illegal felling, damaging attractions and public facilities, and scratching or smearing on attractions or public facilities; illegal construction of religious sites or statues of a god or the Buddha; smoking, lighting a fire and setting off fireworks and firecrackers in fire prohibition area; littering and other actions harmful to the tourist attraction.
Legal Responsibilities
Article 50: In case of smoking and fire lighting in the fire prohibition areas of the tourist attraction against the regulations, the management agency in the tourist attraction shall give a warning, order corresponding person to stop the illegal act and impose a fine between RMB five hundred and RMB three thousand; in case losses are caused, corresponding civil liability for compensation shall be borne; where a crime is constituted, the person concerned shall be prosecuted for his criminal liability according to the law.
Article 55: In case a unit or individual engages in business activities against the regulations without being approved corresponding business rights within the tourist attraction against the regulations, the management agency shall order corresponding person to make rectification and impose a fine between RMB one hundred thousand and RMB five hundred thousand on the unit or a fine between RMB two thousand and RMB ten thousand on the individual; If any illegal incomes have been earned, these incomes shall be confiscated.
Article 56: In case that vehicles, boats and other traffic tools entering in the tourist attraction do not drive according to the routes stipulated or do not park and anchor at the sites stipulated against the regulations, the management agency of this tourist attraction shall order corresponding rectification and give criticism and education. For those who refuse to make corrections, impose a fine between RMB one hundred and RMB five hundred.
