From September 4 to September 6, the 8-member delegation led by Chen Caiming, executive deputy director of the Management Committee of Ningde UNESCO Global Geopark went to the Taining UNESCO Global Geopark to carry out sister park activities and reassessment exchanges.

During the inspection, a reassessment exchange meeting was held between the two parks, at which, Jiang Dongbin, director of the Management Committee of Taining UNESCO Global Geopark, gave a brief introduction to the preparations and precautions for the 2017 reassessment. Subsequently, the two sides conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions on the comprehensive reassessment report preparation, form A and B completion, internal industry data collection, signage rectification, and assessment reception and so on. They also had a site inspection on the signboard renewals in Taining Geological Museum, Changxing Service Area, Jiulongtan, Shangqingxi, and Zhaixia Grand Canyon.

It is understood that this exchange activity is based on the sister park agreement signed between the two parties in 2012. They exchange personnel each year to have communications and learn from each other's protection and management experience.
