On August 18, The 7^th China Baishuiyang Mandarin Duck Board Walking Race organized by Fujian Baishuiyang Tourism Group kicked off in Baishuiyang in Pingnan County, Ningde, a global Geopark and national 5A Scenic Area. 14 delegations from Fuzhou, Xiamen and Nanping took part in the couple group, family group and team group. A singing performance was also held during the race. The race fully demonstrated the unique charm of water mandarin duck board. 

Perseverance prevails.

As soon as the judge gave an order, the Mandarin Duck Board Walking Race kicked off. During the race, all contestants, in strict compliance with the race rules, competed against time and fought hard to be the first to the destination. In spite of lack of physical strength, some contestants still cooperated their group to finish the race with strong perseverance and spirit of never giving up. As a result, they received thunderous applause and cheers from audience. The team group had the most intense competition. All members in these groups made their best efforts and struggled hard, pushing the race to an exciting climax. All audience gathered around the warning line to cheer up for contestants. 

Leaders from Baishuiyang Tourism Group were present at the scene to give awards.

The race fully demonstrated the uplifting spirit of each delegation, greatly improved the participation enthusiasm of all and strengthened teams' cohesion and combatant spirit. After the race, leaders of the organizer presented bonuses and trophies to the winning couple group, family group and team group. 

The biggest winner falls on Nanping Delegation.

According to Nanping delegation's contestant, Baishuiyang would hold such similar group races each year and such activities could improve physical fitness, enable healthier body, lead to more tacit teamwork and more harmonious families. More lovers are expected to join in the next session of race.
