On May 8, Ningde UNESCO Global Geopark and HNU-ASU Joint International Tourism College, Hainan University held the Signing and Awarding Ceremony of Science Popularization Teaching Base in the park. The signing and awarding were done by Chen Caiming, Deputy Director of the park's Management Committee and Wang Yongqiang, Vice President of School of Tourism, Hainan University. After the ceremony, leaders from Hainan University paid a field investigation visit to the park's museum, scenic spots in the scenic area and geological village and also put forward valuable opinions for the future development planning of science popularization of the park.
