From April 2 to 4, the delegation of Yandangshan UNESCO Global Geopark paid an investigation and exchange visit to Ningde UNESCO Global Geopark. Four members of the delegation visited partners and geological villages of Ningde UNESCO Global Geopark and also made a field investigation tour to the Park Museum and Baiyunshan Scenic Area. During their visit, members of the delegation put forward guidance opinions for infrastructure construction in Ningde UNESCO Global Geopark Museum and geological explanation boards and also for how to improve the park's unity and exposure, and shared successful experience of Yandangshan in re-appraisal. Chen Zhiqiang, deputy director and other leaders of Ningde UNESCO Global Geopark Management Committee and working staff accompanied the delegation.  

This exchange visit intensified mutual understanding of these two sister parks, promoted bilateral friendship and increased the confidence for Ningde UNESCO Global Geopark to pass the re-appraisal in 2018.
