According to the arrangements of Foreign Affairs Office of Fujian Provincial People's Government and Fujian Tourism Development and Reform Commission, under the approval of Zhouning County Committee of the Communist Party of China and Zhouning County People's Government, Zhouning tourism promotion delegation (leader: Huang Guicheng, county mayor; members: Zhou Xiong, director general of Zhouning Tourist Administration, Jiang Hongda, director general of Zhouning Transport Bureau) went to Japan to pariticipate in the "Fujian -- Okinawa (Nagasaki) Trade and Tourism Cooperation Symposium" from November 24 to November 28, 2017. On the symposium, they conducted promotions of Zhouning tourism and achieved good effects.

Japan is one of the main tourist sources for China's inbound tourism, and the same for our province's inbound tourism. The number of Japanese tourists in Fujian has ranked in the top three for a long time. From January to October in this year, a total of 371.500 visits were paid by Japanese tourists, an increase year-on-year of 28.5%, making Japan rank as the first tourist source for our province's inbound tourism. This year marks the 20^th anniversary of the friendly relationship building between Okinawa Prefecture and Fujian Province, and the-35^th anniversary of the friendly relationship building between Nagasaki Prefecture and Fujian Province. Under the leadership of Li Dejin, vice-governor, the delegation's participation in the "Fujian -- Okinawa (Nagasaki) Trade and Tourism Cooperation Symposium" will promote the communication and cooperation between the two places and further improve the reputation and fame of "Refreshing Fujian" among the Japanese citizens.

During the communication and promotion events, Zhouning delegation attended the "Fujian -- Okinawa (Nagasaki) Trade and Tourism Cooperation Symposium". At the symposium, County Mayor Huang Guicheng introduced Zhouning tourism to attendees, played the propaganda video and distributed Zhouning tourism hand-drawn maps in Japanese; he participated in the opening ceremony for the exhibition of "intangible cultural heritage" and tourism pictures; he investigated All Nippon Airways Logistics Center, Fukushuen Garden, Confucian Temple, Shuri Castle, AEON; he also conducted field researches on tourism projects (routes) in Japan, and exchanged learning in terms of all-for-one tourism and tourism traffic construction, etc.
