Fu'an Baiyunshan and Enshi Grand Canyon Signed a Brotherly Canyon Agreement

In the afternoon of July 6, the signing ceremony of Brotherly Canyon Cooperation Agreement between the Enshi Grand Canyon and Fu'an Baiyunshan was held in Baiyunshan Scenic Area. Both parties decided to carry out exchanges and cooperation on popularizaition and operation of scenic areas, thus to realize mutual communication of tourism information, complementarity of resources, and mutual delivery of tourist sources, and to jointly promote rapid development of the tourism career in both scenic areas. Zhang Xianhong (Deputy Mayor of Enshi Municipal Government, Hubei), Wang Xueyuan (Director of the Management Office of Enshi Grand Canyon Scenic Area), Fan Zumou (Member of Fu'an Standing Committee of the Communist Party of China), Yang Daohui (Director of the Management Committee of Fu'an Baiyunshan Scenic Area) and other leaders presented at the signing ceremony, witnessing this moment as a milestone together.
Enshi Grand Canyon Scenic Area and Fu'an Baiyunshan Scenic Area have cherished a long-standing traditional friendship. They both belong to the national geology and landform landscapes, having similarities and respective features in their tourism resources; what's more, both scenic areas are rated as national Level 4A, so they have broad prospects of cooperation on their operation and future development, and they can achieve mutual reference & benefits and win-win.
Located in Enshi (Hubei) the world's selenium capital, the Enshi Grand Canyon is highly praised by experts as being comparable to the Grand Canyon Colorado (USA). As one section of the Qingjiang Grand Canyon, it has a full length of 108 km and an area of up to 300 km2. It is endowed with numerous beautiful scenic spots, such as the one-hundred-li cliff ("li" refers to a Chinese length unit), the one-thousand-zhang waterfall ("zhang" also refers to a Chinese length unit), the proudly howling peak, primitive forests, ancient villages, etc.
