On September 26, Mary Frey, a member of the Global Geoparks Network Executive Board, arrived at Baiyunshan Park. With the companion of Zhang Xianhong (vice-mayor of Fu'an Municipal People's Government), Yang Daohui and Huang Caimei (deputy director of Ningde UNESCO Global Geopark Management Committee) and Qiu Xiaoping (executive scientist of the Ningde UNESCO Global Geopark), she conducted site investigation and put forward advices for the work.  

Mary Frey had successively visited the geological museum in the Ningde UNESCO Global Geopark, Jiulong Cave Scenic Spot in Baiyunshan Park and Grape Valley in Xita, and got pretty interested in the geological features in Baiyunshan Park and the folk customs of Fu'an. After this inspection, Mary Frey gave high praises of Baiyunshan Park's insisting on the principle of protection first and proper development; the park's exploration and efforts made in terms of geological relics development and protection, and cultural inheritance. She also affirmed highly the efforts Fu'an Baiyunshan Park had made during the evaluation.
