www.ndwww.cn (By Zhao Qiaohong Text/graph) On July 20, China Youth Outdoor Summer Camp (Fujian Station) kicked off on the bank of beautiful Fuding Jiulixi. 257 teenagers from 20 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions across the country would embark on a 4-day outdoor camp life in countryside and nature. Camped in Jiulixi - Chixi, a bunch of activities such as water activities, sightseeing, adventure in valleys, funny sports, farming experience and rural culture popularization would be carried out.

It is reported that co-organized by Department of Juvenile Sports of General Administration of Sport of China and Department of Sports Health and Art Education of the Ministry of Education and co-sponsored by Ningde Sports Bureau and Fuding Culture & Sports Bureau, this summer camp aimed to enrich the summer vacation life of youth, promote the implementation of more youth outdoor sports activities and gradually build China's outdoor camp system.

In recent years, radiated and driven by Taimushan and favorable ecological conditions in Jiulixi, Chixi Village has centered on fostering sports development, tourism and leisure and farmer experience tours and improved the participation and interaction of rural tourism, thus effectively propelling rural development driven by the scenic area and integrated development. "The unique landscapes and farming culture in Chixi Village and Jiulixi provide essential conditions for China's youth to set up outdoor camps," introduced the principal of the activity organized. This summer camp is a good opportunity for youth to gain experience and temper will and also a good vacation mode to strengthen independence consciousness and improve self-quality. All campers are expected to experience the pleasure from water activities, beautiful landscapes and humanistic charm in eastern Fujian.
