On April 1, 2016, the Fu'an Baiyunshan Park received some young visitors from the middle shift of Fu'an Sunshine Bilingual Kindergarten. It was a sunny day and the environment-educational summer camp themed "Geological Protection Starts from Me" was held for these children in the Baiyunshan Scenic Area. Children from all the middle shifts of the kindergarten, accompanied by teachers, parents, park docents and working staff, learnt the geological protection knowledge with enthusiasm. Such an outdoor activity enabled the children to know more about the formation of the Ningde geological landscape and about how to protect it. 

The camp started at 10 o'clock in the morning. The children queued orderly under the guidance of teachers and parents. They visited the museum and took part in the quiz show about geological protection as well as a field trip. The children listened carefully to the explanations about the formation and protection of the geological landscape during the museum trip; children and parents competed to answer the questions enthusiastically during the quiz show, which equipped them with more knowledge about the Ningde landscape; on the field trip, children were impressed by the stone mortar of Baiyunshan and therefore determined to protect the geological treasure. 

The parents were also impressed, "The activity can broaden children's horizon and knowledge and enhance the emotional bond between parents and children". They said they would take part in such kind of activities in the future. According to the teachers, they will initiate diversified field projects to popularize geological protection knowledge among the children and allow them to learn in "fun". The person in charge of the park said more chances would be offered in order to promote geological protection knowledge among the students.
