In order to popularize geological knowledge of Baiyunshan Park in Ningde UNESCO Global Geopark, on the occasion of the 45^th "Earth Day" on April 23, Wen Feicheng, former chairman of Fujian Institute of Geological Survey, together with his colleagues, paid a visit to Muyang NO.3 High School to present a lecture on geological science knowledge for teachers and students of the school. 

During the lecture, Wen Feicheng gave a detailed introduction to the geological and geomorphic formation, development and evolution of Baiyunshan and also to its discovery, definition, academic discussion and other scientific knowledge, and made a graphic illustration by making use of such video materials as multi-media, thus enabling all teachers and students there to understand the uniqueness of this geology and landform and also the importance of protection in a comprehensive and thorough manner. During the interactive section on the scene Chairman Wen also gave detailed responses to questions raised by teachers and students.

This illustrated and vivid science popularization lecture raised teachers and students' understanding on the park and geological knowledge and also further enhanced their love for the hometown and this land and also their sense of responsibility to protect the environment. Teachers and students expressed their intention to be a propagandist to launch more people to take part in and support the park's development and construction, build the hometown in a better manner and promote harmonious development of man and the nature.
