It is learned that, the Shuangxi Art Festival will come to its climax in Antai Mingcheng in the ancient Shuangxi town. The 18 independent exhibition spaces are designed by teachers and students jointly to display the nearly a thousand paintings by farmers and the disabled, many of which have been reserved by critics, artists and collectors. 

On October 20, 2015, the International Art Education Center for the Disabled was established in Shuangxi, Pingnan. It is a normal supporting project for vulnerable groups sponsored by the Committee of the Communist Party and the government of Shuangxi Town and supported by the Shanghai Hongxi Art Education Research Center and the Hai'an 523 Cultural Industry Park. It offers free courses for the disabled and people with autism, helping them to face life actively and to increase job opportunities and incomes. Over two months later, there are nearly 20 peasant painters growing up from the center. 

In order to ensure a smooth festival, the Shuangxi government launched "four measures" to create the festival atmosphere in advance. Firstly, build a preparation leading group, with secretary of Shuangxi Committee of the Communist Party as the chief and town mayor as the vice chief, to plan about the pre-festival promotion and atmosphere creation; secondly, perform daily publicity through Shuangxi Town WeChat official account to establish an interactive mechanism and the department cooperation, boost the promotion work and enhance the awareness rate and attention of the art festival in Shuangxi Town; thirdly, combine the art festival with the application for 3A scenic spot to continuously increase the reputation and emissive power of Shuangxi Town; fourthly, build a volunteer team in charge of the location introduction and the logistics to ensure the smooth process of the festival.
