To improve the comprehensive quality and emergency capacity of security staff, and to strengthen the security team construction, on December 16, Baiyunshan Scenic Area organized one-day training in Xianfu Service Area targeted at professional skills like the unarmed control skills, and the application of police batons, steel forks and shields. This training is designed to increase the individual ability of security staff to deal with emergencies.

This skill training for security staff covered two aspects, namely professional theories and practical skills, and was conducted under the full guidance of the special policeman detachment of Fu'an Public Security Bureau. Professional knowledge for security staff in the training included: the security staff's responsibilities, rights and obligations, professional ethics, security technology and protection, guarding, patrol, regulation on the administration of security and guarding services, national qualification examination outline for security guards. During the training of practical on-duty skills, the leaders of the detachment assigned special policemen with high-level military qualities and excellent arresting skills to implement the military formation training on the security staff; these special policemen trained "hand by hand" the security staff in terms of access guarding, area patrol, crowd control, crowd dispersion, and the application of defense equipment, etc. At the end, all security staff participated in this training took the on-site drilling for the disposal of emergencies, in which they made use of steel forks, shield and other instruments, and quickly subdued the armed "ruffians" who attempted to rush into the school gate.

This training not only improved the personal skills, psychological counseling ability and other qualities of the security staff, but also deepened their perception and strengthened their ability of emergency management in terms of serious violent attacks, professional disposal, control and counterattack against violent accidents.
