To vigorously promote Taining, expand its visibility, reputation, and influence, and drive the Taining culture and tourism industry toward a new stage of high-quality development, Taining County hosted the 2025 Danxia (Taining) Culture abd Tourism Festival from October 24 to 25.

On October 24, the 2025 Danxia (Taining) Culture and Tourism Festival was held at the Citizen Square of Taining County, Sanming City. At the event site, through wonderful performances, the natural and cultural charm of Taining was comprehensively showcased, vividly presenting Taining's transformation and growth as the core area of the "China Danxia" World Natural Heritage, composing a magnificent chapter of culture and tourism integration. This culture and tourism festival coincided with the important milestone of the 20th anniversary of Taining's successful application for the Global Geopark and the 15th anniversary of the "China Danxia" World Natural Heritage. It also launched a series of activities such as the Culture and Tourism Innovation Promotion Conference, marathon race, and provincial street excellent cultural performance exhibition, allowing citizens and tourists to immerse themselves in the experience.

On October 25, Taining County convened the 2025 "Dual World Heritage" Taining Culture and Tourism Innovation Promotion Conference, systematically summarizing the development achievements and valuable experience of Taining County's culture and tourism industry, further clarifying the direction and path for the future development of the culture and tourism industry, accelerating the construction of "one zone and five bases," and striving to create a world-class scenic area with rich connotations.
