On May 20, coinciding with the arrival of the "5·19 China Tourism Day" and the "5·21 International Tea Day," the Fuding Tea Industry Development Leading Group and the Taimushan Management Committee jointly hosted the "Zen Tea as One, Mountain and Sea Share Tea" tea culture and tourism integration exchange activity at Jing Shan Temple in Hangzhou. This event broke away from the traditional exhibition promotion model and made its debut in the important tourist source market of the Yangtze River Delta region in the innovative form of "in-depth tea culture experience + intangible cultural heritage dialogue."
During the activity, more than 20 representatives from Fuding's tea tourism industry participated in the entire Zen tea ceremony experience, feeling the thousand-year cultural heritage of "tea and Zen as one" in the fragrant tea aroma. Through learning and exchanging content on dual intangible cultural heritage collaboration and religious pilgrimage tourism, the event provided new ideas and inspiration for further promoting the integration of Zen, tea, and tourism.
This Zen tea tourism integration exchange activity is another in-depth cooperation between Taimushan and the Fuding Tea Industry Development Leading Group since the 2025 Yi Si Chinese White Tea Ancestor Taimushan Sacrificial Ceremony. It marks a transformation from "product sales" to "cultural empowerment." As the birthplace of the world's white tea and a place where Buddhist faith is thriving, Taimushan has drawn good inspiration and successful cases from Jing Shan's experience. In the future, it will learn from Jing Shan's successful experience by conducting thematic marketing activities such as "Traveling with the Tea Classic" and other "cultural empowerment" activities to continuously enhance the fame and influence of the Taimushan tourism brand.
