Tour overview: In the morning, visit Carp Brook Scenic Area. The scenic area is about 5km away from the county center in the west and directly accessible by bus. On the afternoon, go to Jiulongji Scenic Area. The scenic area is 13km away from the county center and visitors need to take the bus to Qibu Tourist Service Center and then transfer to the tour bus to go to the scenic area.

　　 Traffic: Tourists outside the province may take the bullet train or airplane to go for Zhouning. Fu'an (Wanwu) Multiple-unit Train Station is 60km away to Zhouning and it would take about 45min to go there. The ticket is priced at RMB 36 and one regular bus is available every hour from 7:20am to 5:41pm. Tourists on self-driving tour can gain direct access to Zhouning through Ningde-Shangrao Highway or the Provincial Highway 302. Zhouning Exit is only 7km away to Zhouning.

　 One-day tour route: 

 In the morning, visit Carp Brook Cultural Landscape Conservation Zone with over 800 years of history. The scenic area is about 5km away from the county center of Zhouning in the west and directly accessible from the county by bus. Covering an area of 14.5km², the scenic area represents one of the three folk-custom areas in Fujian, and was appraised as the core scenic area of "Water Tour in Northeast Fujian) ranking the list of Top 10 Boutique Tour Routes of CCTV Perfect Vacation in China in 2006 and given the title of the oldest Carp Brook by Shanghai China Records Headquarters in 2008. Puyuan Village in the scenic area was appraised as "The Most Beautiful Village in Fujian Province" and famous historical and cultural village of Fujian in 2007, one of "China's Top 10 Harmonious Villages" and "China's 50 Most Beautiful Village" in 2012 and then China's 4A scenic area in July 2013. The village was included in the second batch of "China's Traditional Villages" by China's three ministries in August 2013, enrolled into the sixth batch of "China's Famous Historical and Cultural Villages" by the Ministry of Culture in March 2014 and then as a national park of China in 2016. So far, over 130 news media at home and abroad have given reports on the scenic area and CCTV praised it as a "Wonder in China".

In the afternoon, go to Jiulongji Scenic Area. The scenic area is 13km away from the county center and visitors need to take the bus to Qibu Tourist Service Center and then transfer to the tour bus to go to the scenic area. There, you will encounter the largest waterfalls composed of in Eastern China composed of 9-level waterfalls. The 9-level waterfalls include 1-level waterfall, Longwa Waterfall, Longe Waterfall, Longya Waterfall, Wolong Waterfall, Longjing Waterfall, Longfu Hall, Longjiao Waterfall and Longkou Waterfall. Within only 1km, there is a drop of over 300m, leading to the wonderful plunging waterfall and deep pool and making a natural and picturesque landscape scroll decorated by green hills and leafy trees. The long-standing legend of Nine Dragons further demonstrates its mysterious hue. "The roaring creek water falls from the sky and pristine white snow covers the land in a short time". This prose composed by He Shaochuan vividly describes the splendid scenery in Jiulongji and the magnificent and beautiful falls there ranks No.1 in East China. The scenic area was incorporated in the first batch of Top 10 Provincial Scenic Areas by Fujian Provincial People's Government in 1987 and appraised a national park of China in 2016. Wherein, 1-level waterfall is the most imposing one with the width of 76m and even 83m in wet seasons and height of 46.7m. Its grand and magnificent momentum and tremendous vitality have made it one of China's Top 10 Falls and "No.1 in Fujian and one of the several in China". In 2005, Chinese National Geography, in line with China's media, included Jiulongji in the shortlist of "China's Most Beautiful Places" and The Way to Fashion appraised it as "No.1 Fall in Western Taiwan Strait". In perfect pair with Carp Brook Scenic Area, it becomes the core scenic area of "Water Tour in Northeast Fujian) ranking the list of Top 10 Boutique Tour Routes of CCTV Perfect Vacation in China and was appraised as China's 4A scenic area in July 2013.
