Established in 2014, the Ningde UNESCO Global Geopark Museum has covered an area of 2696 m², with its total construction area being 2964m² and exhibition area being 2000 m². The Museum is divided into seven exhibition halls, namely "Main Hall", "Interactive Exchange", "Geological Knowledge", "Masterpieces by Magma", "Wonders of Water Erosion", "Beautiful Ecology" and "Splendid Culture".

With multiple exhibition forms adopted, such as texts, pictures, models, specimens and multi-media, the museum has comprehensively and systematically displayed the age-old geological history, significant geological relics, peculiar geomorphologic landscape, harmonious ecological environment and splendid folk culture in Ningde Global Geopark.

The Museum is an ideal place for us to learn about the earth, know and promote significant regional geological relics, as well as strengthen our awareness of preserving these relics.

Exhibits within the Museum are only a drop in the ocean of geological relics in Ningde Global Geopark. More magnificent scenery exists in mountains, rivers, islands and the ocean where the Geopark is located nearby. It's from the nature that we achieve the best cognition.
