On August 10^th, Ningde UGGp arrived at the Shilin UGGp to carry out a study, exchange and inspection activity. The meeting was held in the Shilin Tourist Center, where a friendly cooperation agreement was signed between the sister parks. Zhao Xiaomei, the Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Bureau of the Shilin Geopark Administration, delivered a speech on behalf of Shilin. She welcomed leaders and colleagues from various geoparks to investigate and exchange views in Shilin and introduced the basic situation of the Shilin UGGp. The purpose of establishing sister parks is to strengthen the communication and cooperation between the two sides. Representatives of geoparks expressed their opinions and discussed how to strengthen the construction and management of the parks, the protection of geological relics, scientific research and popularization, as well as the sustainable development of the parks. The network construction of geoparks was deepened to promote the sustainable development of geoparks.
