From August 28 to 29, 2015, the delegation of Zhangjiajie UNESCO Global Geopark paid an investigation and exchange visit to Ningde UNESCO Global Geopark. Both parties held a symposium and signed a sister park cooperation memorandum to conclude their friendly sister park relationship. Both parties agreed to strengthen cooperation in geological park management, geological and resource conservation, sustainable economic and community development and science popularization education and carry out multi-field cooperation and exchanges in the future for better management of geoparks. Then, the delegation of Zhangjiajie UNESCO Global Geopark made an investigation and study tour to Taimushan Scenic Area and made exchanges during the investigation.
