On May 17, 2014, Ningde UNESCO Global Geopark and Shennongjia UNESCO Global Geopark entered into a sister park agreement, thus marking a new chapter of friendly exchanges between these two geoparks. The conclusion of such an agreement is in a bid to strengthen exchanges and cooperation among geoparks and will promote mutual information communication and propel to set up a community of shared spirit and interests.
